🧴 How to Season & Care:

First Use / Seasoning:

1. Wash away factory dust & residue:

Use warm water with mild dish soap and a soft sponge to gently scrub away any factory dust or protective oil. This is the only time you'll use soap on your cast iron!


👉 Do not soak. Rinse and dry thoroughly.


2. Dry the pot completely:

Wipe off all moisture with a clean cloth. Then place it over low heat for 1–2 minutes to ensure it’s completely dry. This step helps prevent rust.


3. Apply a thin layer of oil:

Once cool, use a paper towel to rub a very thin, even layer of cooking oil (like vegetable, peanut, or flaxseed oil) on the entire inner surface of the pot.


4. Heat to bond the oil:

Place the pot on low heat and heat for 10–15 minutes. You’ll see a slight sheen forming — that’s the oil bonding to the surface.


Let it cool naturally.


5. Wipe off any excess oil:

Before storing or cooking, use a dry cloth or paper towel to wipe away any extra oil. The pan is now seasoned and ready to use!


Daily Care:

1. After cooking, let the pan cool before rinsing.

2. Clean with warm water and a soft sponge (no soap needed unless very oily).

3. Dry completely after washing.

4. Apply a thin layer of oil if storing for long periods to prevent rust.
